who the hell is kacie bell?

Kacie has been singing and performing ever since she learned how to talk and has been writing music since she was 10. Now at 18, she aspires to share her talents with the world and spread inspiration everywhere she goes. Her music is an expression of her emotions, fears, thoughts, and aspirations. She released her debut album, Head In The Clouds, in her junior year of high school, and her sophomore album, growing pains, the week before her high school graduation. Kacie has also been named a 2022 National YoungArts Foundation Merit Winner and has been featured on her hometown radio station, WTBF Troy, and newspaper, the Troy Messenger. She now attends Samford University studying Commercial Music, and she continues to write and plan for what her future holds.

so, does anyone remember the cinematic masterpiece that is the movie lemonade mouth? that movie absolutely shaped my childhood ambitions and now i'm here trying to come up with a funny addition to my website so that people will like me and listen to my music and-

now that they're gone, let me properly introduce myself. i'm kacie. i write music as a coping mechanism, but now it's my career path (us gen z weirdos, am i right). my favorite color is green (if you couldn't tell from the website), and i really love raccoons. i put a piece of myself into every song i write (even the not so great ones) because i want to make the kind of music that helped me get through some bad times in my life. if i never become successful in societal standards but am able to reach out to someone just like me through my music, it all would have been worth it. i personally struggle a lot with anxiety and depression, and writing music has given me a way to put all of those hard to describe feelings and thoughts into a folder in my notes app or a chord progression on my guitar. not only does making music bring me joy, but having someone come up to me and tell me that they related to something i wrote and that i'm not alone in my experiences gives me more comfort than anything else in the world. all i could ever ask for is to leave a positive, lasting impression on a person that needs it.

sorry if that got a little too serious for you, so here's a raccoon meme
